The Faculty of Instrumentation, Biomedical and Ecological Engineering united ETU departmentsspecialising in making of wide range of biomedical and ecological devices and systems. Academic courses at the Faculty are oriented on applied tasks – biomedical techniques, technical means of ecological monitoring, measurement technique systems, non-destructive testing, systems of autonomous navigation.

The area of Health Care, Medicine, Ecology takes a priority in areas of research and education. “Knowledge from different fields of science can help people to work in complicated conditions of the modern industry”,- said the Dean of the Faculty professor E. Popetchitelev.

Specialists from St. Petersburg Medical University and scientists from the Academy of Science of Russia are invited to read lectures for students’ better understanding of up-to-date problems in Biology and Medicine.

In research and development the Faculty co-operates with scientists from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Poland, Finland.
